One day I googled about orphans and I stumbled on a story about a lady that lives up north, she had a heart for children and started taking kids in. Before she knew it she had 17 kids, she adopted 11. When the house got to small she asked a friend to buy the house behind her and she started taking kids in. 13 kids later they bought another house, until they had 4 houses, broke down the inner border walls and build a nursery in the middle.

babyAccording to the UNICEF report, it is estimated that there are 210 million orphans worldwide. Every 2.2 seconds another orphan ages out with no family to belong to and no places to call home and studies have shown that 10% – 15% of these children commit suicide before they reach age eighteen. These studies also show that 60% of the girls become prostitutes and 70% of the boys become hardened criminals.

“Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” – John F. Kennedy

Our Heavenly Father never intended for us to live as orphans or without a home. His plan even before creation was to have a family. Our vision here at House Madalitsho is not only to provide a safe and healthy environment, but to also help restore The Father’s original plan of family. We no longer want to see the orphan spirit overtake the lives of His precious children.

It feels like a bucket of ice cold water has been dumped over my head, or should I say ice cold beer or no wait baptism water. It all depends in which building you choose to find yourself.

I thank God that I have a platform to talk from. I have a bit of experience under the belt about both places, so from there I question God?

Who is more important to you? The lost soul in the bar, or the uninformed pastor?
